immaculate condition, Woodville offers gracious living of a bygone

are 25 other large bedrooms done up in treditional 'art deco' style
of the 1930's wit large attached bathrooms having showers and long
baths. There is also a Royal Cottage in the Estate having two
Luxurious Suites.

in the Golden Tiger Lounge and see a galaxy of photographs signed by
Hollywood Stars of the glorious era of the 1930's. Have a delicious
traditional Himachali meal in the Imperial banquet Hall or feast on
Indian or Continental food in the Octagonal Dinning Room which
should satisfy the most discriminating gourmet.
Added to this, Woodville also has
Billiards, Table Tennis & Badminton for the sports lovers. A
Tennis Court is also in the offering. For nature lovers, the private
forest in the estate, haunted by a variety of birds, offers little
woodland walks. Finally, there are the sprawling gardens and lawns
for relaxation which are rivaled by none of Shimla.
Woodville Palace is easily
accessable by car or coach from the Himachal Pradesh Secretariat via
Raj Bhavan (Government House) without requiring any formal vehicle
permit, with car parking space for upto twenty cars. The distance
from Shimla Airport is twenty kilometers and the Shimla Railway
Station is seven kilometers.
