Kothi Village
16 km from Manali – If you are looking for some peace and calmness in this busy hill station, the small village of Kothi is a wonderful option. The small village of Kothi is surrounded by majestic snow capped peaks, the splendid Beas River flowing below and the arresting calm of nature. The village has been a backdrop for a number of films. Also a favorite destination for poets, writers and painters, the village is soaked in the magic of nature. From anywhere in the village, the view of mountains is amazing and breath taking to say the least.

Solang Valley
13 km from Manali You can easily hire a car or taxi from Manali, which will take you to the Solang Valley. Valley is covered with cascading mountains and the gently flowing Beas River. Solang Valley is famous for adventure sports, indulge in some skiing, paragliding or exciting ATB rides, during winters you can go for the intense 300-meter ski lift or other smaller lifts and jumps. There are a bundle of sports activities for kids like, zorbing, horse riding etc. You can pack in a big picnic basket and find the perfect picnic spot for a wonderful evening.

Rahala Waterfall
17 km from Manali – Rahala Falls at an altitude of 2,501 m. The waterfall is situated on the way to Rohtang Pass. You can also easily hire a car or taxi from Manali, which will take you to the Rahla Waterfalls. Visitor of Rohtang pass will halt for some moment and enjoy the waterfalls and mystical atmosphere. This place is popular during the summer seasons. The Rahala Waterfalls is not far from Manali. Manali Wildlife Sanctuary
2 km from Manali The Manali Wildlife Sanctuary is about 2 km from the Manali Town. The sanctuary spread is about 31.8 square kilometres. A bridle path from Manali log huts/ Dhungri temple passes through dense Deodar, Kail, Horse chestnut, Walnut and Maple forests. Night stay in tents at Lambadug or Gallant thatch is an unforgettable experience. Alpine lush green pastures and glaciers beyond Galant thatch are a romantic attraction for the enthusiastic but enduring visitors. One may see Musk deer, Monal and Brown bear digging or ploughing the land and also pug marks with scent of Leopard or Snow leopard. Those who venture up to snows can see herds of Ibex in the glacier zone in summers.
